Spring bars Datejust 26 ladies steel — 13mm
€12,95
Set of two spring bars for Rolex Datejust 26 ladies in steel, in hardened Swiss Standard steel. Size: 13mm between lugs. Pin 1.8mm. Blind lugs. The Datejust 26 is the historic ladies model of the line — 26mm case, very narrow 13mm lugs, produced in millions of examples from 1957 to today.
The 13mm is one of the narrowest lug widths in current production. Very few aftermarket straps are made in 13mm, and almost none of any quality. At Casati Milano we stitch fine leather straps made to measure for the Datejust 26 ladies — crocodile in the most requested variants, but also alligator and ostrich. The 13mm × 1.8mm spring bars are the technical complement to the made-to-measure strap.
The same spring bars on every steel Datejust 26 I work on for leather strap fitting.

Domande Frequenti
Are these spring bars compatible with all Datejust 26 ladies models or only specific years?
They are compatible with virtually all Datejust 26 ladies from 1957 to present. Rolex maintained the 13mm lug standard throughout the entire production run of this line. The only variable is pin diameter: verify that your watch has 1.8mm pins — this is the standard, though some older vintage examples may have slightly different tolerances.
If I remove the original Rolex bracelets and install yours, do I risk damaging the watch lugs?
No, if you use a decent tool (even a €2 spring bar tool works fine). The risk of lug damage is very low because 13mm is already extremely tight — the pin enters and exits with minimal resistance, so there’s no torsion stress. What matters is avoiding screwdrivers or improvised tools that could slip.
Can I use these spring bars with bracelets from other brands, not Casati Milano?
Technically yes, if the bracelet is cut for 13mm lugs. But honestly: finding decent aftermarket bracelets for 13mm is nearly impossible. Most are made for 16-18mm and up. If you want a bracelet different from the original, it’s better to commission a custom one rather than search for compatibility with generic parts.
How long do these spring bars last before they lose tension?
The tempered Swiss Standard steel we use virtually never loses tension. What wears is the pin: after years of repeated insertion/removal it may become slightly smoother, but we’re talking about 5-10 years of daily use. If you change your bracelet once every 2-3 years, you won’t notice them aging.
