David Q Very beautiful color, great quality leather, fantastic craftsmanship. I've already gotten compliments on it paired with my BB58.

Saffiano leather doesn't demand attention; it earns it naturally—with its heat-embossed crosshatch pattern, a surface that repels water and abrasions without needing special care. This green strap, with ecru stitching, is exactly what it appears to be: selected calfskin leather, crafted in Italy using a process that combines mechanical pressing and wax finishing. The result is a leather that retains its color saturation over time and doesn't deform when exposed to moisture.
The military green of this saffiano is bold, not decorative. The ecru stitching creates a measured contrast—enough to stand out, not enough to overshadow the dial. A combination designed for those who wear their watch daily, without treating it as a fragile object.
Cleaning is as simple as wiping it with a soft cloth. No conditioners, no special attention. This is the practical advantage of saffiano: a leather that works for you, not the other way around.

The cross-hatched grain is armour: it shrugs off scratches and rain where full-grain would mark. It changes little over time, and that's its virtue — wear it every day and it stays itself.

Changing your strap should be as simple as changing your shoes. With us, it is.
Every strap has integrated quick-release spring bars: swap it in one gesture, no tools, no risk of scratching the lugs. The same watch shifts mood with the moment.
Picked for you
No, that's the point. saffiano was engineered for this — that embossed crosshatch texture isn't just aesthetic, it repels water and abrasion on its own. You don't need conditioners, you don't have to obsess over drying it, you don't need to worry. Run a soft cloth when needed and that's it. The wax finish does the rest. It's leather that works for you.
saffiano maintains color saturation over time — it's not a leather that changes appearance in a few months. That said, natural leather hues vary piece to piece, it's in the nature of the material. But the color doesn't hollow out like a surface dye would. It's green because the leather is green.
Long lug width is 115mm, short is 75mm. The choice depends on your wrist size — if you typically pull your watch strap quite a bit, go long. If you prefer wearing it tighter, go short. The strap comes in one of the standard widths (yours is 18mm lug width), but you can pair it with whichever lug width you prefer.
Two millimeters is the sweet spot — sturdy enough for daily wear (saffiano isn't a fragile material), thin enough to sit cleanly on the wrist without bulk. The crosshatch embossing and wax finish give it structural rigidity. It's not a limp strap.
The stitching remains part of the design — it has measured contrast against the green, enough to see but not enough to overpower. Running a soft cloth over it won't damage it, that's exactly what you should do. The ecru isn't delicate thread, it's stitching built to last in daily wear.
