When you receive it, the strap has already passed through centuries of tanning tradition. Horse shoulder leather is a rare raw material — not because it's difficult to work with, but because few people still know how to do it. This tanning takes place in Tuscany, in one of the region's historical tanneries, following methods that cannot be improvised.
The result is a surface with a visibly antique character: slight irregularities, warm tones that layer, an immediate softness on the wrist that more common leathers only achieve after months. Each piece is different from the other — the color varies slightly from piece to piece, because each hide carries its own history. This is what makes every strap a singular, unrepeatable object.

What sizes are available?
This strap is available in four sizes: 18mm x 16mm, 20mm x 16mm, 22mm x 18mm and 24mm x 20mm. Length 115mm x 75mm, thickness 2.5mm. Choose according to your watch's lug width.
Can the colour vary from one piece to another?
Yes, and it is not a flaw. Each piece of horse shoulder leather carries its own story: the tones vary slightly from piece to piece. Whoever buys it knows they are getting a unique piece, not a copy.
How does it change over time?
The leather is already soft on the wrist as soon as you receive it. With use, it continues to soften and to take on the character of the person wearing it.
Can I have traditional spring bars instead of the quick release?
Yes, that's possible. It costs the same price and takes about a week. Let me know which size you'd like, and I'll proceed.
Why is it a limited edition?
Because the raw material is what it is. This leather is tanned in Tuscany and is not unlimited: once it runs out, the model won't be made the same way again.
