Nylon is not always the obvious choice. It becomes so when it's made from 100% recycled polyester, processed in Italy with the same care reserved for leather. This military strap is born from a material that has already lived a life — and begins another on your wrist.
The dark brown base absorbs light without seeking attention. The orange stitching, however, finds it: a precise, non-random color detail that works equally well on a vintage field watch or a contemporary sports watch. The military profile — uniform width, solid loops, 316L steel buckle — does the rest.
A slender 1.5mm thickness for those who want a strap that doesn't add bulk but withstands daily use without compromise. The 316L stainless steel buckle and loops resist corrosion: a technical detail that becomes essential on a strap for everyday use.

Returns and exchanges

WHAT WE DID
Milano Straps has always been mindful of sustainability and of the ways in which a luxury product should be made and distributed, and has decided, in its own small way, to help grow an Eco-Luxury Positive economy.
We have recently launched the MSLabStraps line, a new series of eco-friendly NATO fabric straps made by recycling post-consumer plastic bottles collected in Northern Italy.
With one recycled plastic bottle, two MSLabStraps NATO straps are made.
Through a mechanical, not chemical, recycling process, certified 100% Made in Italy along its entire fully traceable supply chain, the plastic in the bottles is shredded and turned into high-quality, high-performance recycled polyester yarns for textile use.
Producing 1 kg of Newlife®, compared with the same quantity of virgin polymer, allows a 60% reduction in energy consumption, a 32% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 94% reduction in water use
Frequently asked questions
Can this strap be worn in water?
Yes. It is made of Newlife® recycled polyester, sourced from plastic bottles, produced through a Made in Italy supply chain. It withstands water without any issue.
What sizes are available for purchase?
20mm and 22mm, both with a 316L stainless steel buckle.
Is the thickness suitable for everyday use?
1.5mm. Thin, yet sturdy: solid keepers and a corrosion-resistant 316L steel buckle.
Can I have traditional spring bars instead of the quick release system?
Yes, made to order. Same price, about a week's wait. Just let me know the size, 20mm or 22mm.
Do the orange stitches only suit military watches?
No. They look great on a vintage field watch, but also on a more modern sports watch. The dark brown base stays understated, and the orange detail does the rest.
