Military Eco Nylon Strap — Brown Red Stitching
€52,00
Recycled polyester, sewn in Italy. It's not a compromise — it's a deliberate choice.
The eco-friendly military nylon strap is made from 100% recycled yarns, processed with the same care reserved for noble materials. The weave is compact, resistant, and free of sagging. The red stitching on the brown background is not a decorative detail: it is a sign of craftsmanship that doesn't hide.
The military nylon strap pairs well with watches with a straightforward character — tool watches, field watches, any case that doesn't need embellishments. The slim 1.5mm thickness also makes it compatible under a cuff. The 316L steel buckle and rings resist moisture and daily use without yielding.
Chromatic variations between individual pieces reflect the nature of the recycled materials used. It's not a defect — it's a trace of origin.

The joy of little things
Changing your strap should be as simple as changing your shoes. With us, it is.
Every strap has integrated quick-release spring bars: swap it in one gesture, no tools, no risk of scratching the lugs. The same watch shifts mood with the moment.

ARTIGIANATO ITALIANO
Manifattura Milanese

But if it's recycled, why isn't the colour always identical from one strap to another?
Because recycled yarns have a history behind them — they come from different sources and retain their natural variations. It is not a manufacturing defect, it is the trace of what they were before. If you want a perfectly uniform, artificial brown, this is not the strap for you. If instead you appreciate that yours has a character of its own, here you find what you are looking for.
How much does 1.5 mm of thickness amount to under a shirt cuff? I mean, does it show or does it really disappear?
A thickness of 1.5 mm is contained enough not to create bulk under the fabric. It does not disappear completely — it depends on how close-fitting the cuff is — but it does not create that annoying bump you can spot from a distance. It is designed precisely not to take up space, especially if you wear it daily under a shirt.
Does the 316L buckle really hold up, or is it one of those that corrodes after a few months in the pool or at the sea?
316L steel is what is used for serious marine applications. It withstands humidity and daily use without giving in. If you use it in the pool, it works. If you use it at the sea and leave it encrusted with salt for weeks without cleaning it, any metal will suffer — but this material is built for real use, not to be admired in a display case.
What kind of watch do I picture this on? I mean, what watch wouldn't look out of place?
Tool watch, field watch, anything with a direct character that does not need embellishment to stand on its own. A Rolex Submariner might look strange. A Hamilton Khaki, a Seiko SKX, a watch born to work — that is its environment. Think of a strap that does not compete with the case, but walks alongside it.
Why red stitching on a brown background, instead of something more understated?
Because it is not decoration. It is the way Milano Straps has chosen to show how the strap is made, without hiding the construction. If you want something that stays in the background, this is not it. If you appreciate the gesture of someone saying ‘this is how I stitched it’, then you understand the language immediately.
