Handmade Straps
Eco Recycled Nylon Military NATO Strap — Green with Green Stitching
€52,00
Twenty-seven centimeters of 100% recycled polyester, stitched with the same precision as a leather strap. The military green doesn't demand attention — it commands it.
This NATO strap is made from recovered materials and manufactured in Italy: a choice that compromises neither aesthetics nor durability. The 316L stainless steel buckle and loops ensure corrosion resistance and a stable clasp over time. The green stitching follows the strap's body seamlessly, defining its chromatic character without excess.
1.5mm thick: robust enough to withstand daily use, thin enough not to be bulky under the crystal. Compatible with lug widths between 20mm and 22mm — fits most timepieces without adapters.

The joy of little things
Changing your strap should be as simple as changing your shoes. With us, it is.
Every strap has integrated quick-release spring bars: swap it in one gesture, no tools, no risk of scratching the lugs. The same watch shifts mood with the moment.

ARTIGIANATO ITALIANO
Manifattura Milanese

Domande Frequenti
I have a watch with 20mm lugs, but I read that the strap fits up to 22mm — how does it actually work? Do I need an adapter?
No, you don’t need anything. The 20mm NATO fits directly into 20, 21 and 22mm lugs without adapters. The width of the band moves freely around the stainless steel rings, so it settles on its own regardless of the exact millimetre of your lug width. If you’re unsure about your watch’s measurement, measure the space between the spring bar pins: that’s what matters.
Is it really 100% recycled or is it one of those greenwashing labels? And above all, does it hold up like a regular one or is it more fragile?
The polyester is 100% recycled — that’s the material, not a slogan. On durability: 1.5mm thickness, continuous stitching, 316L stainless steel that doesn’t corrode. It withstands daily use exactly like a traditional NATO. The difference isn’t in the resistance, it’s in the origin of the fibre. If you use a regular nylon NATO and pull hard, this one does the same.
27 centimetres of total length — how is it divided between the wrist and the excess? Will it fit my wrist?
The total length is 27cm, but how it distributes depends on your wrist and how you fasten it. A NATO wraps around the lug width of the watch and then knots back on itself: it’s not like a standard strap where one part is fixed. Take a measurement from your wrist to the base of your fingers (where you usually wear the watch), double the number, add a few centimetres for the knot — if you don’t exceed 25-26cm, this one fits without issue. If you’re uncertain about your size, get in touch directly: it costs nothing to know in advance.
The green stitching — is it purely aesthetic or does it have a constructive purpose? And does it really hold up over time?
The green stitching is the structural reinforcement that holds the band together. It isn’t decoration: it’s what prevents the recycled polyester from unravelling under tension. It follows the body without interruption and is sewn with the same rigour as a leather strap. The 316L stainless steel of the rings doesn’t degrade, so the main wear won’t be there. Recycled polyester fibres are stable — they’re not rubber that deteriorates: they resist like traditional nylon.
Military green — is it that dark ‘army’ green or is it lighter? And under light or after a few months of use, how does it change?
It’s true military green — the classic one, not bright. Recycled polyester holds its colour without fading like natural fabric. Don’t expect chromatic variations over time: it’s not a leather that develops a patina or a cotton that loses colour. It’s stable. If you expose it to direct sun for months, every textile fibre undergoes something, but we’re talking about minimal changes. The green stitching remains consistent with the body of the band.
