Handmade Straps
Recycled Nylon Military NATO Strap — Red and Black Edges
€52,00
Recycled nylon, 316L steel, red edges on a black background. A NATO strap that doesn't ask permission to be recognizable.
Made from 100% recycled polyester — not as a compromise, but as a conscious choice. The reclaimed material carries a minimal variability in color shades: each piece is slightly different from the others, and this is not a defect. It's the nature of the process.
The profile is slim — 1.5mm thick — and adapts comfortably to the wrist even on the longest days. The total length of 27cm covers most wrists without excessive strap. The 316L stainless steel buckle and loops resist corrosion and sweat: the right choice for those who wear their watch even when they should probably take it off.

The joy of little things
Changing your strap should be as simple as changing your shoes. With us, it is.
Every strap has integrated quick-release spring bars: swap it in one gesture, no tools, no risk of scratching the lugs. The same watch shifts mood with the moment.

Domande Frequenti
I have a fairly thick wrist and I hate it when the strap extends too far beyond the buckle. How does this 27cm total length perform?
The 27cm is calculated to cover most wrists without excess. If you have a large wrist, the strap reaches but you won't end up with half a meter of material flapping around. It depends on how tight you want to wear it: if you prefer a loose fit, the length might be enough; if you want it tighter it could be borderline. It's the compromise for those who don't want even a millimeter more than necessary.
They say it's recycled. Isn't that one of those things that degrades quickly because it comes from waste material?
No. The recycled nylon here is 100% recycled polyester transformed into stable fiber — it's not waste paper. The 1.5mm thickness and 316L stainless steel buckle (the kind that doesn't rust even if you take it to sea) do their job. The recovered material brings minimal tonal variability, which is normal in the process: each strap is slightly different from the next, but that's not a defect, it's simply how it works. The durability is there.
I noticed the edges are red and black. Is that something that wears down and disappears after six months on the wrist?
The red edges are part of the fabric itself, not a print or surface treatment. It's not something that scratches off. Logically if you wear it daily against your skin and in sweat, the material ages like everything — but it's not something that fades. The 316L stainless steel buckle resists sweat, so the hardware holds. The rest depends on how hard you use it.
Single-pass NATO mounting: does that mean I replace it without screws like real military straps, or is it something different?
It's NATO style: the strap passes under the lug tube with a single pass, not with two holes and screws like standard straps. You put it on in thirty seconds. If you're used to classic straps, NATO is faster. If you prefer the traditional screw system, this isn't for you.
Lug width 20-22mm: my watch has 20mm lugs. Does it fit without issues or do I have to force it?
20mm is the stated width. The NATO style by design is tolerant — the strap passes under the lugs and there's no friction like in screw systems. If you have exactly 20mm it's not a physical issue. The minimal variability you'll find is in the shades of black and red tones, not in dimensions.
