Does it pass under the lugs without bunching? I have a narrow lug width and I don’t want the strap sitting there puffy.
Thickness is 1.5mm — deliberately kept thin for exactly this reason. It flows smoothly under the lugs without creating bulk, whether you have a narrow or standard lug width. Recycled nylon is already naturally soft, it doesn’t stick.
Does 316L steel really resist, or is it an excuse to say it costs less than leather?
It’s the same alloy you find in cases of many reference watches. Corrosion resistant, stable over time — it’s not a cost choice, it’s a durability choice. On a strap that has to do its job, it makes sense.
