Yes. It's calfskin treated on the outer side, with a velvety texture to the touch. It doesn't have the shine of box calf: it's matte, soft, and you can feel the difference right away under your fingers.
Thickness is 2.1mm. It's not a heavy strap, and it adapts well without weighing down the watch.
Each strap is cut from a single piece of leather. Small tone variations from one piece to another are normal: it's natural leather, not a defect.
