The treatment it receives in the tannery is not meant to distort it — it serves to make it more resistant to daily wear, while maintaining the texture that distinguishes it at first glance.
Each strap is cut from a single piece of leather. Color variations between one specimen and another are not defects: they are the signature of the natural material.

A nabuk strap on a sports watch — does it make sense or is it an affected choice?
It depends on what you’re after. It’s not designed to go unnoticed: nabuk is tactile, it captures attention, it signals that there’s something particular on your wrist.
