Military green isn't meant to please everyone. It's a deliberate, almost declarative choice — those who make it know what they're looking for on their wrist.

This single pass strap is made from 100% recycled polyester, crafted in Italy with the same attention reserved for the most noble materials. The result is an essential, flat strap that doesn't lift the watch off the wrist like a traditional NATO: the case stays where it should, close to the skin, with the buckle centered under the wrist for real comfort throughout the day.

The one-piece design is not just aesthetic. If a spring bar were to fail, the strap still keeps the watch on your wrist — a concrete, not theoretical, safety feature. The absence of a double keeper eliminates the annoyance of a loose tail: the end tucks into the sliding keeper and disappears.

The military green and ecru combination is calibrated: the contrast is present but not aggressive, working well on both neutral and more elaborate dials.

The joy of little things

Changing your strap should be as simple as changing your shoes. With us, it is.

Every strap has integrated quick-release spring bars: swap it in one gesture, no tools, no risk of scratching the lugs. The same watch shifts mood with the moment.

Manifattura Milanese

Domande Frequenti

If a spring bar fails during the day, will the strap still hold the watch on my wrist, or do I risk losing it?

Yes, it will hold it. That's the advantage of single pass: it's not a marketing claim, it's construction. If a spring bar fails, the watch remains secured by the strap itself. It's not theoretical safety — it's what actually happens with this architecture.

Why single pass instead of a classic NATO? What's the real difference under the wrist?

Single pass is one piece, NATO is double. Result: the case stays resting on skin, not lifted. The buckle sits centered under the wrist, no second nylon layer creating bulk or pinching. And that free end that usually flaps annoying? Here it disappears inside the sliding keeper — it's integrated into the design.

Is the military green bright or more subdued? And that écru colour on the back — how visible is it?

It's not bright. It's true military green, the tone is declarative but not loud. The écru on the back is the actual contrast: it works well on neutral dials, but it also holds its own with more elaborate watches. There is contrast, but it's not aggressive — it's calibrated. If you want to know whether it suits your specific watch, that's a question we should evaluate together.

Is it really recycled, or is it one of those ‘eco’ nylons that breaks within two years?

It's 100% recycled polyester, processed in Italy with the same attention we apply to noble leathers. It's not a sustainability shortcut. The thickness is 1.5mm, the buckle is 316L — the same steels we use on shell cordovan straps. If the material were fragile, the construction wouldn't make sense.

What length is it? I need to know whether I'll have excess fabric to manage or whether it'll be tight.

Total length 27cm. If your wrist requires more adjustment beyond factory compensation, the sliding keeper adapts, but the strap itself doesn't allow the fine tuning you'd get with perforated leather. It's a design choice — single pass isn't sewn point by point, it is what it is. If you have length concerns for your wrist, it's better to clarify upfront.
