A single piece passes through both lugs, goes under the case and returns. No exposed spring bars, no risk of accidental detachment — if a spring bar fails, the strap still holds. This is the logic of the Single Pass, and it works.
The material is 100% recycled polyester: a technical choice even before it is an ethical one. The fibers maintain color and shape even with daily use, resist moisture, and do not deform. The combination of blue and light blue gives the strap a distinct character — military in origin, versatile in practice.
Unlike classic NATO straps, the Single Pass does not lift the watch case from the wrist: the case stays where it should be, the buckle is positioned underneath, centered. The sliding keeper secures the excess strap without eyelets to tighten, without protruding tails. You put it on, adjust it, and forget it's there.
Buckle and rings in 316L stainless steel — the same used in marine applications. Handmade in Italy.

Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The strap must come back as you received it: unworn, in its packaging. Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. Every strap is a one-off piece, cut and stitched by hand in our Milan atelier. Saddle stitching gives superior strength, while the edges are finished with seven coats of dye applied by brush, for a longevity that outlasts passing trends.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get it wet?
Yes. Newlife® recycled polyester, Made in Italy, is produced from plastic bottles and is not affected by water. You can wear it in the shower or at the sea without any concern.
What sizes are available?
20mm and 22mm. Please tell me the lug width of your watch and I will point you to the right size.
How does the single pass system work?
A single piece passes under the case and back, with no exposed loop. If a spring bar fails, the strap still holds. There are no keepers to tighten: just a sliding loop that secures the excess length.
Does it raise the wrist compared to a classic NATO?
No. The case sits low, and the buckle is centred under the wrist. It doesn't have the raised effect of a two-piece NATO.
What material are the buckle and rings made of?
316L stainless steel, the same one I use in marine applications. It doesn't stain and doesn't dull with sweat.
