Single pass. No strap tail sticking out, no unnecessary bulk under the wrist. The Single Pass is based on a simple principle: less is more, provided that every millimeter is in the right place.
This strap is made of 100% recycled polyester — a material that is not an environmental compromise, but a precise technical choice. Lightweight, moisture-resistant, color-stable. The military green here is not decorative: it is a shade that complements steel, bronze, and titanium cases without demanding attention.
The single-pass design offers a concrete advantage over the traditional NATO: the watch case remains lower on the wrist, the buckle is centered under the wrist instead of shifting sideways, and the absence of a double layer of fabric under the case improves contact with the wrist. In addition, the monobloc construction ensures that the watch remains on the wrist even if a spring bar breaks — a passive, discreet safety feature.
The 316L stainless steel clasp — buckle and rings — is the correct choice for a strap designed for daily use, water, and sweat. No zamak, no peeling coatings.

Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The strap must come back as you received it: unworn, in its packaging. Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. Every strap is a one-off piece, cut and stitched by hand in our Milan atelier. Saddle stitching gives superior strength, while the edges are finished with seven coats of dye applied by brush, for a longevity that outlasts passing trends.

Can I get it wet?
Yes, without any issue. It's Newlife® recycled polyester, Made in Italy supply chain, designed for water and sweat. No compromises when in contact with moisture.
What sizes are available?
20mm and 22mm. Stainless steel buckle on both. Total length 27 cm, thickness 1.5 mm.
How does the closure work, is it like a classic NATO?
No. Here there's only one pass-through, not two. No tail sticking out under the wrist, no double layer of fabric under the case. The buckle stays centred.
If a spring bar breaks, does the watch fall off?
No. The construction is single-piece: even with a broken spring bar, the watch stays on the wrist. It's a passive safety feature, and I find it useful.
Is the buckle just for looks, or does it hold up well over time?
It's 316L stainless steel, both buckle and rings. No zamak, no coatings that flake off with daily use.
