Handmade Straps
Single Pass Military Strap Eco in Recycled Polyester — Brown
€52,00
A single piece that passes through both lugs. The single-pass design is not a shortcut—it's a precise technical choice: no double layer under the case back, no protrusion on the wrist, no tail coming out of the buckle.
This strap is made from 100% recycled polyester, crafted in Italy. The material maintains its structure even after months of daily use, resisting moisture without absorbing odors. The brown complements both brushed metal and polished steel with equal naturalness.
The 316L stainless steel buckle and loops—the same material used in watch case backs—ensure stability over time without the risk of oxidation. The slim 1.5mm thickness keeps the strap discreet even under a cuff.
A detail worth considering: the one-piece construction offers passive redundancy. If a spring bar fails, the strap still keeps the watch on your wrist.

ARTIGIANATO ITALIANO
Manifattura Milanese

Domande Frequenti
But if I use the single pass, how do I adjust the length? Am I left with a dangling tail?
No, exactly the opposite. The single pass goes through both lug widths in one continuous piece: the total length is 27cm, and the strap ends directly at the buckle without a tail. There is no double layer beneath the caseback, so no awkward bulk against the wrist. It is a technical choice, not a compromise.
Does this recycled nylon really hold up to daily wear, or is it one of those eco-friendly solutions that frays after two months?
It is 100% recycled polyester, crafted in Italy. The structure of the material retains its integrity even after months of daily use — it does not absorb moisture, does not retain odours, and the 1.5mm thickness is restrained but stable. With the 316L steel keepers and buckle, the strap is not what will give in first.
Compatible with my 20mm watches? And how does the brown sit on different metals?
Yes, the lug width is 20mm (also suitable for 22mm). The brown behaves well on both brushed metal and polished steel — it is not a question of fashion, it is simply material that works. Try to picture it on your watch and you will see it does not clash.
If a spring bar fails, does the strap fall off the wrist or stay in place?
It stays in place. This is one of the concrete technical advantages of the single pass: the one-piece construction offers passive redundancy. If a spring bar gives way, the strap continues to hold the watch on the wrist. It is not an absolute guarantee, but it is a level of security the double pass does not offer.
Why is it so thin (1.5mm) if it has to hold? Doesn’t it seem fragile?
The thickness is a deliberate choice: it keeps the strap discreet even under a cuff, without adding unnecessary bulk. Recycled polyester maintains structure precisely at this thickness — it is not a matter of robustness in millimetres, but of how the material behaves. If it were any thicker, it would simply be cumbersome.
