Recycled polyester is not a compromise. It is a precise technical choice: stable under tension, resistant to moisture, capable of maintaining its shape where other materials fail. This military strap is made from 100% recycled yarns, processed in Italy with the same attention given to leather models.
The brown palette with orange edges doesn't seek visibility — it achieves it through contrast. A balanced combination, suitable for field watches or any case that deserves more than an anonymous strap. The slim 1.5mm thickness ensures wrist comfort without sacrificing structural integrity.
Buckle and loops in 316L stainless steel: the same grade used in watchmaking. No oxidation, no failure over time.

Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The strap must come back as you received it: unworn, in its packaging. Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. Every strap is a one-off piece, cut and stitched by hand in our Milan atelier. Saddle stitching gives superior strength, while the edges are finished with seven coats of dye applied by brush, for a longevity that outlasts passing trends.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get it wet, in the shower or in the rain?
With this strap, yes, I can answer without hesitation. It is made of recycled Newlife® polyester, sourced from plastic bottles, manufactured through an Italian supply chain. Water will not damage it.
What sizes are available?
20mm and 22mm. Total length 27cm, suitable for most wrists.
What buckle does it have?
Buckle and keepers in 316L stainless steel, the same grade I use for watches. It does not corrode and will not wear down over time.
How thick is it, does it suit a field watch?
Thickness 1.5mm. It stays comfortable on the wrist and holds its structure without weighing down the case. It suits a field watch well.
I wanted traditional spring bars instead of the quick release, is that possible?
Yes, I can fit them on request. Same price, about a week's wait. Just let me know which size, 20mm or 22mm.
