Three millimeters thinner than leather. A choice, not a compromise.
Recycled military nylon has a logic of its own: made from 100% regenerated polyester, it goes through Italian laboratories and arrives on your wrist with the same strength as a material designed to last. The red stitching on a grey base doesn't try to please everyone — it defines a precise, recognizable character, far from anonymity.
Its universal width of 20 to 22mm makes it compatible with most everyday references. The 316L steel buckle and rings do not rust, do not give way, do not stand out — they simply do their job.
For those who choose consciously. Not to follow a trend, but because recycled material, when well crafted, makes no excuses to anyone.

Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The strap must come back as you received it: unworn, in its packaging. Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. WHAT WE DID
Milano Straps has always been mindful of sustainability and of the ways in which a luxury product should be made and distributed, and has decided, in its own small way, to help grow an Eco-Luxury Positive economy.
We have recently launched the MSLabStraps line, a new series of eco-friendly NATO fabric straps made by recycling post-consumer plastic bottles collected in Northern Italy.
With one recycled plastic bottle, two MSLabStraps NATO straps are made.
Through a mechanical, not chemical, recycling process, certified 100% Made in Italy along its entire fully traceable supply chain, the plastic in the bottles is shredded and turned into high-quality, high-performance recycled polyester yarns for textile use.
Producing 1 kg of Newlife®, compared with the same quantity of virgin polymer, allows a 60% reduction in energy consumption, a 32% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 94% reduction in water use
Frequently asked questions
Can I get it wet, in a pool or in the rain?
Yes, without worry. It's made of Newlife® recycled polyester, processed from plastic bottles through a Made in Italy supply chain. Water won't damage it.
What sizes are available?
20 mm and 22 mm. Take the lug width measurement of your watch and choose the right one.
Does the buckle rust?
No. The buckle and keepers are made of 316L steel. They resist water and sweat, and require no maintenance.
Is this strap bulky on the wrist?
Not at all. The thickness is 1.5 mm. You won't feel it under a shirt cuff.
Are the orange stitches a discreet detail?
No, they're meant to stand out. The military green is the base, the orange is the mark that breaks up the base. This isn't a strap that goes unnoticed.
