This strap is born from recycled Newlife® polyester, worked in Italian workshops into a compact weave that stands up to everyday use without giving way. One and a half millimetres thick: light on the wrist, never fragile. Anyone coming from leather notices it right away — less mass, the same hold.
You fit it from 20 to 22mm, covering most of the watches worn day to day. Buckle and rings in 316L steel: they don’t rust, they don’t bend, they don’t ask for attention. They do their job, and that’s it.
Recycled material, when worked well, has nothing to prove. This is a strap for those who choose with their head — not to follow a trend, but because an honest material, made with care, is worth just as much as any other.

Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. WHAT WE DID
Milano Straps has always been mindful of sustainability and of the ways in which a luxury product should be made and distributed, and has decided, in its own small way, to help grow an Eco-Luxury Positive economy.
We have recently launched the MSLabStraps line, a new series of eco-friendly NATO fabric straps made by recycling post-consumer plastic bottles collected in Northern Italy.
With one recycled plastic bottle, two MSLabStraps NATO straps are made.
Through a mechanical, not chemical, recycling process, certified 100% Made in Italy along its entire fully traceable supply chain, the plastic in the bottles is shredded and turned into high-quality, high-performance recycled polyester yarns for textile use.
Producing 1 kg of Newlife®, compared with the same quantity of virgin polymer, allows a 60% reduction in energy consumption, a 32% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 94% reduction in water use
Frequently asked questions
Does it hold up like a leather strap, with a thickness of 1.5 mm?
It holds up in a different way: less bulk, same durability. The weave is tight and made for everyday use. Those coming from tan leather feel it on the wrist right away.
What is it made of?
Made from Newlife® recycled polyester, born from plastic bottles: the bottles are collected in Northern Italy, mechanically shredded without chemical solvents, and transformed into yarn. One bottle yields two straps.
Can it get wet?
Yes. The buckle and keepers are made of 316L steel: they do not rust, do not bend, and require no attention.
What sizes do you offer?
20 and 22 mm. The length is 27 cm, with a single keeper loop: it fits most wrists.
What colour is the stitching?
Blue on full red. A sharp contrast, with no half measures.
