A watch strap is made to endure, or made to please. The military strap, born from the specifications of the British Ministry of Defence, never had to choose.
Its construction is a single piece: the strap slides under the watch case instead of attaching to the lugs with two separate spring bars. A precise design choice—if one spring bar fails, the strap remains on the wrist. In the field, this difference carries specific weight.
Military green canvas and brown leather coexist naturally: the fabric provides the structure, the leather provides the character. The ecru thread stitching is not an ornament—it's the mark of a job well done, visible to those who know where to look. Each strap varies slightly from the others due to the natural discontinuities of the leather: not a defect, but proof that it's real.
Compatible with any watch with 20mm to 22mm lugs. It works on a vintage field watch as well as on a modern GMT—without forcing the pairing.
