Epsom's geometric embossing is not decoration – it's structure. Each micro-cell imposes order on the color, protecting and retaining it. In light blue, this process produces something precise: a color with character without being random, freshness without fragility.
Epsom leather is premium calfskin processed with controlled pressure to obtain a rigid and uniform texture. The same constructive logic that makes Epsom accessories maintenance-free works here on the same principle: the embossing repels scratches, maintains its shape under pressure, and weighs significantly less than equivalent smooth leather – a real advantage on large cases like those of divers.
The chosen light blue is not a pastel. It has depth. The micro-cells of the embossing capture light obliquely, creating a three-dimensionality that prevents the color from appearing flat on the dial. The result changes with the angle of the wrist – not ostentatiously, but precisely.
On the light blue Seamaster or the Aquatimer, this strap does more than just support the chromatic theme: it builds it. On an Oyster Perpetual with a turquoise dial or a light blue Tudor Black Bay, it becomes the connection between watch and wrist without forcing it. I have three widths in stock: 20mm x 18mm, 22mm x 20mm, 24mm x 22mm. The length is always 115mm x 75mm, and the thickness tapers from 3mm at the lug to 2.5mm at the buckle.
How do I clean it?
A damp cloth, nothing else. No conditioners or treatments: the Epsom embossing does the job on its own, protecting the colour and keeping its shape.
Does it look good on an Oyster Perpetual with a turquoise dial?
Yes, I designed it with this pairing in mind. The blue of the Epsom holds its own against the dial, and the steel case, whether brushed or polished, frames it cleanly.
What buckles can I choose from?
Available for purchase are steel, yellow gold-plated, rose gold-plated, and black PVD. I pair all of them with this blue; the choice depends on your watch case.
Does the blue fade in the sun or with sweat?
No, it stays stable. This is a feature of the Epsom leather, not a promise I'm making myself: the embossing holds the colour and protects it through everyday wear.
