What are the measurements of this strap?
20mm at the lugs, 16mm at the keeper. Length 115mm case side and 75mm buckle side, thickness 2.5mm. Please take these measurements in hand before ordering.
Is the white edge trim hand-stitched?
Yes, this perimeter edge trim is hand-stitched. You can see it clearly up close: the light thread runs cleanly along the edge, without smudging.
How does alligator change over time?
It settles on the wrist and gains shine with use. It doesn't wear out, it defines itself. Each scale works in its own way, and after a few months the strap is no longer the one from the first day.
Will the scales be identical to the photo?
No, and it couldn't be otherwise. Each alligator hide has its own pattern, its own shade. Your piece will show slight differences from the image: it's real leather, not a print.
Which buckle should I choose with this black and white?
I've made available steel, plated yellow gold, plated rose gold, and black PVD. With this sharp contrast, I would go with steel or black PVD, to keep things understated. But the choice is yours.
