Selected leathers
The hand-painted edge is the last thing you notice — and the first thing you remember. Against a compact black background, the light red edging traces a precise, millimeter-perfect perimeter, almost like a signature. It's not a decorative detail: it's a statement of character.
The leather is Louisiana alligator, tanned in Tuscany according to a tradition that allows no shortcuts. The manufacturing process begins with the selection of each individual hide — every piece has a different conformation, and that difference is evident in the finished strap. The surface is that of genuine alligator: defined scales, natural relief, a texture that changes slightly from one piece to another.
The light red edging is applied by hand, in layers, after stitching. It's not an industrial finish: it requires time, a keen eye, and a steady hand. The result is a line of color that complements the watch case without overpowering it.
Each strap is handmade in Italy. Color variations between individual pieces are inevitable — and are part of the product.

Patina is the signature of time.
Alligator doesn't wear down: it matures. The first months on the wrist soften its flank, light darkens the ridges just slightly, and the colour deepens. We treat it with neutral oils, no varnish to smother the grain: what you take home isn't finished, it's only beginning.
The next step
The right strap isn’t chosen. It is built, together.
From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the light red edge durable over time or prone to peeling with use?
The edge is applied by hand in multiple layers on already finished leather, which ensures good adhesion over the long term. Like any handcrafted finish based on pigments, it may experience slight wear in areas of frequent contact — particularly near the lugs — after years of intensive use. Periodic maintenance with products designed for fine leathers helps preserve its integrity.
Is this 20mm strap compatible with cases requiring a 16mm lug width?
Yes. The tapered profile transitions from 20mm at the lugs to 16mm at the buckle loop, a classic proportion for watches 38 to 42mm in diameter. The 20/16mm size covers most standard configurations, including many Rolex, IWC, and Jaeger-LeCoultre models with 20mm lug width.
What distinguishes this strap from a standard black-dyed alligator strap?
The main difference is the hand-painted light red edge, which introduces a calibrated chromatic element against an otherwise rigorous background. This is not a ’sporty’ or eccentric strap: the red is restrained, used as a perimeter rather than as the focal point. The result works well on steel or two-tone cases where a discreet point of visual tension is sought.
Is the 2.5mm thickness compatible with cases that have narrow lugs or deployante closures?
A thickness of 2.5mm is among the most refined for genuine alligator — making it versatile even with low-profile cases or lugs with tight clearance. With deployante closures, case-by-case verification of compatibility is necessary, as the strap thickness affects the overall height of the closure at the wrist.
