The hand-painted edge is the last thing you notice — and the first thing you remember. Against a compact black background, the light red edging traces a precise, millimeter-perfect perimeter, almost like a signature. It's not a decorative detail: it's a statement of character.
The leather is Louisiana alligator, tanned in Tuscany according to a tradition that allows no shortcuts. The manufacturing process begins with the selection of each individual hide — every piece has a different conformation, and that difference is evident in the finished strap. The surface is that of genuine alligator: defined scales, natural relief, a texture that changes slightly from one piece to another.
The light red edging is applied by hand, in layers, after stitching. It's not an industrial finish: it requires time, a keen eye, and a steady hand. The result is a line of color that complements the watch case without overpowering it.
Each strap is handmade in Italy. Color variations between individual pieces are inevitable — and are part of the product.

Is this 20mm strap compatible with cases that require a 16mm buckle?
Yes. The tapered profile goes from 20mm at the lugs to 16mm at the buckle keeper, a classic proportion for watches from 38 to 42mm in diameter. The 20/16mm size covers most standard configurations, including many Rolex, IWC and Jaeger-LeCoultre models with a 20mm lug width.
