The Heritage
The strap for this watch is made to measure
On the Casio Mudmaster the bracelet is drawn as part of the case: no catalogue strap will fit. In the atelier we take the measurements on the watch itself and build the strap on the piece — that is the work of Casati Milano.

Can a standard strap be mounted on the Casio Mudmaster GWG-1000-1A?
No, the bracelet is integrated into the case with a proprietary attachment. A standard strap will not fit. This is why I work with the Atelier Casati Milano: I craft a custom strap directly onto your case, hand-modelled to respect the watch's architecture.
How does the bespoke strap work for the Mudmaster?
We work by appointment only at the Atelier Casati Milano on Via XX Settembre 15. I take measurements directly from your case, millimetre by millimetre. Then I craft a personalised attachment that integrates perfectly with the resin and steel structure without compromise.
Which leather do I recommend for the Casio Mudmaster?
I prefer Tuscan leather, vegetable-tanned. This watch is tactical, with a sporting and technical soul: a leather full of character that ages beautifully and develops a patina over time, enhancing that philosophy. If you want something lighter and more responsible, I suggest NATO in Italian regenerated yarns.
How long does a well-made strap last?
It depends on care and use. Well-crafted Tuscan leather withstands 5-7 years of intense daily wear, and improves with age. The leather patinas, darkens, tells a story. If you protect it from frequent rain and treat it occasionally with wax, you'll reach 10 years without effort.
Why was the Mudmaster designed with this case architecture?
Casio engineered this structure for three critical missions: absolute waterproofing against mud, shock protection from drops, and a barrier against dust penetration. The monolithic case and 56mm size are not aesthetic—they are functional. A standard strap cannot respect this logic, which is why a bespoke approach makes sense.
