Can I fit a standard strap on the Casio G-Shock GA-100 GA-100MB-1A?
No, the bracelet is integrated into the case and the lugs are proprietary Casio. A standard strap won't attach. I've seen too many people attempt DIY solutions that damage the watch. In my atelier, I build a bespoke strap directly onto the case, so it dialogues with the resin geometry.

It depends on how you treat it. Good leather withstands 5–7 years of daily wear, even with this robust watch. Leather ages naturally — it darkens, it marks, it develops patina. Once a year, run a light treatment through it. If you leave it dry in permanent sunlight, it suffers sooner.
Why does the GA-100 deserve a handmade strap?
Casio designed it as a manifesto of indestructible resistance: 55mm, resin, anti-conventional. Precisely because of this technical coherence, I recommend not leaving it with an industrial plastic strap.
