The Heritage
The strap for this watch is made to measure
On the Casio G-Shock 6900 the bracelet is drawn as part of the case: no catalogue strap will fit. In the atelier we take the measurements on the watch itself and build the strap on the piece — that is the work of Casati Milano.

Can I fit a standard strap on the Casio G-Shock 6900 DW6900PL9ER?
No, the bracelet is integrated into the case and the attachment is proprietary. A standard strap will not fit. I've seen many attempts, but this geometry doesn't allow compromises. If you want a leather strap on this model, I build it bespoke in the atelier, working directly on the case.
How does the bespoke strap creation process work?
I work exclusively at Casati Milano, by appointment only. I take measurements directly from your case, study the original attachment geometry and hand-shape the leather for a perfect fit. It's the only way to honour this watch's technical integrity.
Which leather do I recommend for the G-Shock 6900?
I choose robust, textured leather — never polished. This model has a sporty, urban soul, and a leather with structural character enhances it without betraying its functional dna. I love when leather ages visibly, it tells the story of wear.
How long does a well-made strap last?
With proper care, 6-8 years or more. It depends on how often you wear it and how you treat it. Leather softens and develops a patina — that's what I prefer. Occasional cleaning with a damp cloth and a touch of jojoba oil now and then keeps it alive.
Why has the G-Shock 6900 become so significant over time?
Launched in '95, it broke the mould of the conventional tool watch with that tripartite design and three sub-dials. It entered hip-hop, streetwear, urban counterculture. It's not a conventional sports watch — it became a symbol. That's why a bespoke strap transforms it: I respect its history while legitimising it in a more personal context.
