The Heritage
The strap for this watch is made to measure
On the Casio G-Shock 6900 the bracelet is drawn as part of the case: no catalogue strap will fit. In the atelier we take the measurements on the watch itself and build the strap on the piece — that is the work of Casati Milano.

Can you fit a standard strap on the Casio G-Shock 6900 DW-6900CB-1?
No, the bracelet is integrated directly into the case — there are no standard lugs where a conventional strap can be attached. I've watched many people try: it doesn't work. For this model, I craft the strap bespoke directly in the atelier, shaping the leather around the case geometry.
How does the bespoke strap work for the G-Shock 6900?
I work with Casati Milano, by appointment only. I take measurements directly from the case, study how the leather must dialogue with the resin, and handcraft the piece. It's not a replacement — it's an act of watchmaking tailoring.
Which leather do you recommend for this model?
I prefer Tuscan leather treated for durability: it absorbs the urban energy of the 6900 without clashing. Waxed Barenia works well if you want a more refined look, but Tuscan keeps the street spirit this piece deserves. The choice depends on how you see it on your wrist.
How long does a well-made strap last?
With the leathers I use, 3 to 5 years of regular wear. Longevity depends on use and care — a gentle wipe now and then, avoid frequent saltwater, let the leather breathe. Good leather ages beautifully: it becomes softer, develops patina. It's not wear, it's a story.
Why is the G-Shock 6900 built this way, with an integrated case?
Kikuo Ibe designed it as a manifesto: three circular eyes, shock-resistant resin architecture, no gaps where dirt or water creeps in. It's the geometry of an urban fortress. This means anyone wanting a different strap must respect that language — you don't simply add one, you reimagine it with the same rigour.
