I prefer Mississippi Alligator for its fine grain and elegant character, or Swift if you want something softer and more tactile. Both dialogue beautifully with the rose gold and steel. It depends on how you want it to feel on your wrist every day.
How long does a well-made strap last?
With daily wear and minimal care—don't soak it unnecessarily, don't fold it when off your wrist—quality leather lasts 4-5 years, often more. It ages well: softens, develops a patina that tells the story of time together.
Why is the Serpenti so difficult to modify?
