How long does a leather strap last on a Breitling Galactic?
The lifespan of a leather strap depends on the material, level of care and frequency of use. A high-quality vegetable-tanned alligator strap, worn daily and kept away from excess moisture and perspiration, can last between three and five years whilst retaining its structural integrity. Shell cordovan, owing to the density of its fibres, tends to last even longer, developing a distinctive patina over time.
