The Heritage
The strap for this watch is made to measure
On the Bell & Ross Instruments the bracelet is drawn as part of the case: no catalogue strap will fit. In the atelier we take the measurements on the watch itself and build the strap on the piece — that is the work of Casati Milano.

Can a standard strap be fitted to the Bell & Ross Instruments BR05A-GR-ST/SRB?
No, the bracelet is integrated into the case and has no standard lugs. A conventional strap will not attach. What I do in the atelier is craft a bespoke strap directly onto your case geometry, respecting Bell & Ross's proprietary lugs.
How does the bespoke strap work for the BR05A?
I expect you at the atelier: Casati Milano, by appointment only. I measure directly from your case, study the lugs and create a personalised strap that fits perfectly without compromise. It's handcrafted work, made on your watch.
Which leather would you recommend for a Bell & Ross Instruments?
I prefer Tuscan leather with vegetable tanning: it has that industrial solidity and patina that speaks well with the BR05's technical spirit. It ages beautifully, developing character year after year. If you want something more refined, French Barenia is my second choice, but Tuscan is what I'd recommend for this watch.
How long does a well-made strap last?
It depends on use and care. Good artisanal leather holds up 4-5 years of daily wear, then you can request leather replacement while keeping the lugs. True longevity you build yourself: avoid stagnant water, let it breathe, take it off in the evening. Leather is alive and ages with you.
Why does the BR05 have an integrated bracelet in the case?
It's a deliberate choice by Bell & Ross: the integrated bracelet is part of the watch's architecture, not an accessory. It comes from their heritage of cockpit chronographs, where everything must respond to rigorous design logic. That's precisely what makes it interesting to work with in the atelier: you must respect that squared, sophisticated geometry with equal seriousness.
