The strap for this watch is made to measure
On the Bell & Ross Instruments the bracelet is drawn as part of the case: no catalogue strap will fit. In the atelier we take the measurements on the watch itself and build the strap on the piece — that is the work of Casati Milano.

Can I fit a standard strap on the Bell & Ross Instruments BR05A-BLU-ST/SST?
No, the bracelet is integrated into the case structure — there's no conventional attachment point for a standard strap. I've seen many who wanted to change it: the only way is a bespoke strap built in the workshop, adapted directly to the square geometry of the case.
How exactly does the bespoke strap work for this model?
We work only at Casati Milano, by appointment. When you come to Via XX Settembre 15, I hold the watch in my hands and take measurements directly from the case — so the strap fits perfectly, without forcing.
Which leather do I recommend for such a sporty, aeronautical Bell & Ross?
Tuscan leather in navy blue or Barenia. Tuscan leather is robust, it feels natural on the wrist and develops a patina that tells the story of time together — true to the instrument spirit of this watch. Barenia is more refined if you wear it in the evening too, but both breathe with the character of the case.
How long does a well-made artisanal strap last?
Years — it depends how you treat it. Good Tuscan leather withstands 8-10 years of daily use, if you keep it dry when it rains and clean it now and then with a cloth. Leather ages beautifully: it doesn't wear out, it becomes noble. Every scratch, every crease tells the story of your hands.
Why does the integrated case construction require a bespoke approach?
The square geometry and case fitting are not standard — every millimetre matters to maintain the technical balance that Bell & Ross designed. I can't let a generic strap betray that precision. In the workshop I study the piece and build it so the solution is invisible, as if it were born alongside the watch.
