The appointment is the first step

There is no catalogue to browse from a distance. There is a table, the right light and a selection of leathers laid out in front of you. Choosing the leather in person means feeling it between your fingers, watching how it responds to a fold, understanding which grain will accompany the dial you wear on your wrist every day.

We talk about your watch — the shape of the case, the thickness of the lugs, the way you wear it. Every detail guides the construction: the width to the millimetre, the curve of the shape, the colour of the stitching thread.

Fifty steps, four weeks

From cutting the leather to delivery, there are more than fifty manual steps. Each stage takes time that cannot be compressed: preparing the leather, skiving, gluing, hand stitching with a double-threaded needle, finishing the edges with wax. None of these steps is decorative. Each one determines the strength, the comfort, the durability.

Four weeks is the time we ask for. It is not a delay — it is the distance between an accessory and an object designed for your wrist.

What the leather does over time

A good leather does not stay the same. In the first months the colour warms up, the grain softens following the shape of your wrist, the edges take on a patina that tells the story of its use. After eighteen months the strap does not look new. It looks like yours — in the most precise sense of the word.
