The Zenith El Primero was introduced in 1969 as the first high-frequency automatic chronograph movement. It features the El Primero 4021 caliber with a column-wheel, small seconds and a power reserve indicator. The movement operates at 36,000 vibrations per hour and offers hours, minutes and chronograph functions.
