The Zenith El Primero 03.2530.4047/78.C813 is the contemporary evolution of an icon that changed modern watchmaking. Launched in 1969, the El Primero was the first high-frequency automatic caliber in serial production, beating at 36,000 alternations per hour (10 Hz). This 46mm reference features a massive stainless steel case housing the caliber El Primero 4047B movement, which combines hours, minutes, small seconds, date, column chronograph, and moon phase on a single dial. The 20mm lug width maintains visual balance on the 46mm case, characteristic of complex sports chronographs.
