The Zenith El Primero was introduced in 1969 as the first automatic high-frequency chronograph movement. It mounts the El Primero 4052 B caliber with column-wheel chronograph functions, annual calendar and day and month indication. The movement operates at 36,000 vibrations/hour with small seconds and date.
