Strap for Modello Due U2S-M

The Modello Due U2S-M is equipped with lugs (lug width) of 22mm. This measurement is obtained by calculating the distance between the two metal lugs from interior to interior. An accurate measurement is essential to ensure that the aftermarket strap fits perfectly without play or excessive tension on the slots.

Given the minimalist character of the U2S-M, we recommend a calfskin leather strap with vegetable tanning in cognac brown or black tones: the natural ageing of the tannin parallels that of the brushed stainless steel case. Alternatively, an anthracite grey NATO or an authentic alligator strap for more formal contexts represent aesthetically and functionally coherent choices.

The strap is secured by spring bars housed in the lugs. To change it: 1) Use a dedicated tool or needle point to press the spring bar from the outside, releasing one end; 2) Remove the old strap completely; 3) Insert the new strap into the attachments, ensuring that the spring bars engage correctly in the strap slots; 4) Verify that the strap is firmly secured before wearing the watch.

All straps with a 22mm lug width are compatible with the U2S-M, provided the strap has correctly dimensioned slots for standard spring bars (typically 1.8mm diameter).
