The Tissot Tradition T063.610.16.052.00 features a lug width of exactly 20 millimetres. This measurement is taken between the two lateral attachment points of the case and is compatible with all standard 20mm straps available in our collection.

There is no universal choice, but rather it depends on the context of use. For formal elegance, we recommend polished black alligator or vegetable-tanned cognac calf. For daily versatility, a technical nylon NATO strap is unbeatable. For humid climates, natural rubber guarantees durability and comfort.

Position the watch case sideways. Use a spring bar tool to gently compress the lug spring and slide the pin out of its seat. Repeat on the other side. Insert the new strap by aligning the holes to the lugs, pushing the pin until it clicks. Verify the strap is securely attached before wearing the watch.

All 20-millimetre straps are compatible with this Tissot model, regardless of material: leather, alligator, shell cordovan, NATO, rubber, technical fabric. What matters is verifying the lug width, while strap thickness should be appropriate for the case (approximately 4-5mm for leather straps).

A high-quality leather strap typically lasts 3-4 years with daily use, longer if worn occasionally. Vegetable-tanned leather develops an attractive patina over time. Factors such as humidity, direct sunlight and frequency of wear influence longevity. We recommend rotating between multiple straps to extend their life.
