Alternatively, vegetable-tanned calf offers a patina that evolves over time, or gummed rubber for daytime versatility.

Strap replacement requires removal of the lateral spring bars using a dedicated tool (spring bar tool). Insert the small lever into the gap between the case and the strap, compress the internal spring of the pin slightly, and extract. Repeat for both lugs. New 18mm straps are installed by aligning their holes with the case lugs, then inserting the spring bar until it clicks into place.
