The Twenty~4 7300/1200A-010 T, seen from the bench

The Patek Philippe Twenty-4 Automatic in stainless steel with diamond settings and black dial is a square-shaped women's watch launched in 1999. It features an integrated bracelet and a contemporary geometric design. The case diameter and lug width specifications are engineered to complement the watch's continuous architectural line between case and bracelet.

Frequently asked questions

Can a standard strap be fitted to the Patek Philippe Twenty~4 7300/1200A-010 T?

No. The bracelet is integrated into the case with a proprietary attachment: no standard strap will connect. There is no conventional lug width to work from. The only viable option is to build a strap from scratch, directly on the watch.

How does the bespoke strap service work for this model?

I work on this type of watch exclusively in the atelier, by appointment. You can book at Casati Milano, Via XX Settembre 15, Milan. I take the watch to the bench, study every millimetre of the original attachment points, and hand-shape the strap to respect the square geometry of the case. This cannot be done remotely: the watch needs to be here with me.

Which leather do I recommend for the Twenty~4?

For evening wear I always choose Mississippi Alligator: its scale structure works beautifully with the square case's geometric lines, and it ages with real character. For daytime I prefer a premium Swift, more restrained, which keeps the fluid elegance without adding weight to the wrist. The choice depends on how you wear it — we can discuss that together in the atelier.

How long does a well-made strap last?

A properly built strap on a watch like this will comfortably last five or six years of regular wear. Quality leather does not deteriorate: it transforms. Mississippi Alligator, in particular, develops a patina over time that makes it increasingly personal. Care is straightforward: avoid water, and condition the leather once or twice a year with a neutral product.

The Twenty~4 was launched in 1999 — what keeps this design relevant after twenty-five years?

The answer lies in the geometry. A square steel case with a bracelet that flows continuously, without visual interruption, is a radical design decision — and radical decisions do not age. I have seen many ladies' watches from that era come through the bench: most showed the period in their design. The Twenty~4 did not. It has stayed true to itself.
