No. The bracelet is integrated into the case structure: there is no traditional lug where a standard strap can be attached. The only viable option is bespoke work, built directly around the watch. That is what I do in the atelier, one piece at a time.

I work through <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, by appointment only, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, study the case geometry, and build the attachments by hand from scratch. No templates — every piece is born from that specific watch.

For a Nautilus in white gold, I go for Mississippi alligator with a fine scale pattern in a neutral tone — smoke grey or midnight blue. The character of the watch is sporty yet built from precious materials: the leather should follow that same logic, never overpower it. Alligator ages with dignity, and on a watch of this calibre it is the choice I have never regretted.

A strap worked properly, with selected leather and solid stitching, comfortably lasts five to seven years with regular wear. Leather needs little but consistent care: keep it away from prolonged water exposure and condition it occasionally. Over time it changes — it softens, takes the shape of the wrist — and for me that is the sign the work was honest.

It changes everything, in the best sense. A 33.5mm case in white gold has more compact proportions and a geometry that forgives nothing. The attachments must be slim, precise, coherent with the visual lightness of the piece. I have seen poorly proportioned straps completely ruin the reading of a watch built this way — which is why I never work on a piece like this without having it in front of me.
