Strap for Nautilus 7010 Rose Gold / Gold
Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Patek Philippe Nautilus 7010/1R-012 is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can a standard strap be fitted to the Patek Philippe Nautilus 7010/1R-012?
No. The bracelet is integrated into the case with a proprietary attachment: no standard strap will connect without modification. It is a precise technical constraint, not a flaw. That is why I only work on commission, building the attachment by hand on the physical watch.
How does the bespoke strap process work for this model?
Everything goes through Casati Milano, by appointment only. I bring the watch into the atelier, take measurements directly from the case, and build the attachment shaped around the original curves. I do not work from sketches or photographs — the watch must be in front of me.
Which leather do I recommend for the Nautilus in rose gold?
I choose Mississippi Alligator dyed in warm tones — cognac, tobacco, terracotta. Rose gold calls for materials with chromatic warmth, and alligator responds with a texture that works well against the geometry of the case. I avoid black: it cools the metal too much and flattens the contrast.
How long does a well-made strap last?
On a Nautilus worn regularly, a properly built strap lasts between five and eight years. Care matters a great deal: keep it away from water and direct sunlight. Alligator ages well — it develops a patina that tells the story of use, and to me that is the mark of a living material.
Why does the Nautilus still carry such weight, nearly fifty years after its debut?
In 1976 Gérald Genta did something uncomfortable: he took a sports watch and dressed it in precious metal, breaking a convention that had seemed immovable. The 7010/1R-012 carries that same disruption forward in a feminine register. I have seen many watches pass through the atelier — this is one of those that never stops generating conversation.
