Strap for Nautilus 5811 White Gold / Blue
Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5811/1G-001 is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can a strap be fitted to the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5811/1G-001?
The bracelet is integrated into the case: there is no standard lug to which a traditional strap can be attached. The geometry of this Nautilus is designed to form a single unit with its bracelet. If you wish to change the strap, the only viable option is to have one built bespoke, directly on the watch, in the atelier.
How does the bespoke strap service work for this model?
I work by appointment only at Casati Milano, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. You bring the watch: I take measurements directly from the case, study the curve of the attachment point, and build the strap around that specific geometry. There are no useful shortcuts for a watch like this.
Which leather do I recommend for this Nautilus in white gold?
For a watch that combines a sporting character with a white gold case, I prefer alligator with a satin finish, in slate grey or midnight blue. It holds the double register of the model — neither too formal nor out of context. I have seen it worn this way and it works well.
How long does a well-made strap last?
A strap built from quality leather and hand-stitched will easily last five or six years with regular use. It depends greatly on how it is cared for: keep it away from water and let it breathe. Good leather ages with character — it takes on the shape of the wrist and improves over time.
Is the Nautilus 5811 genuinely different from the 5711 it replaced?
The 5811 was introduced in 2021 as the successor to the 5711, but it is not a simple aesthetic revision. The white gold case changes the character of the piece compared to the steel of its predecessor: it is brighter, more formal in nature, while retaining the same octagonal porthole architecture designed by Gérald Genta. I have had the opportunity to study both at the bench — the difference is felt in the hand as well.
