Strap for Nautilus 5711 Stainless Steel / Green
Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1A-014 is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can a standard strap be fitted to the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711/1A-014?
No. The bracelet is integrated into the case with a proprietary attachment: no standard strap will fit. To mount a strap on this watch, I build each piece directly on the actual case, in the atelier, made to measure.
How does the bespoke strap process work for this model?
The work is carried out at Casati Milano, by appointment only. I bring the watch to the bench, study the geometry of the lug system and shape every component on the real case. I do not work from theoretical measurements: the watch must be present.
Which leather do I recommend for the Nautilus?
For a watch with this character — sporting yet built with an almost architectural rigour — I prefer matte calf with a brushed finish. It holds up well with daily wear, does not compete with the lines of the case and ages honestly. I avoid polished leathers: they break the dialogue with the steel.
How long does a well-made strap last?
With a top-grade leather and solid construction, I count on five, even eight years of regular use. Care makes all the difference: keep it away from standing water, a little neutral wax each season. The leather does not stay the same — it marks, softens and tells time exactly as it should.
Why did the olive green dial of the 5711/1A-014 attract so much attention?
Patek Philippe discontinued the Nautilus 5711 in 2021, and this dial variant was one of the last references produced before the end. When a manufacture closes a chapter deliberately, whoever wears that watch holds something precise: not a future promise, but a closing date already written. That changes how I look at every detail, the strap included.
The next step
The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.
From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
