No. The bracelet is integrated into the case with a proprietary attachment: no standard strap will fit. This is a deliberate construction choice by Patek Philippe, not a limitation. In the atelier I build the strap directly on the watch, made to measure.

I work on this type of case exclusively at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, by appointment, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, take measurements directly from the case, and build every connection by hand. There are no pre-made templates: each strap is created from scratch on that specific piece.

For a sport-elegant watch in white gold, I prefer a glossy alligator in tone-on-tone shades — deep black or dark anthracite grey. It keeps the Aquanaut's contemporary character without overpowering it. I have seen textured leather combinations that work well too, but on white gold the gloss wins.

With normal care I expect at least five to seven years of regular wear. Quality leather does not deteriorate: it ages, develops character, and moulds to the wrist. I recommend keeping it away from prolonged water exposure and letting it breathe between uses.
