Strap for Aquanaut Luce Quartz Stainless Steel / Khaki
Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5267/200A-011 is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can a standard strap be fitted to the Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5267/200A-011?
No. The bracelet is integrated into the case: there is no traditional lug to attach a standard strap. The fitting is proprietary, designed to create that continuous flow between case and bracelet that defines the Aquanaut. Anyone wishing to switch to leather needs to approach this with a bespoke method, not with an off-the-shelf strap.
How does the bespoke strap process work for this model?
I only work on this type of watch in the atelier, by appointment. At Casati Milano, Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan, I take measurements directly from the case: I study the octagonal curves, the lug angle, the geometry of the attachment. Only then can I build something that truly integrates, millimetre by millimetre. It cannot be done remotely, not with a watch like this.
Which leather do I recommend for the Aquanaut?
For a watch with this dual character — sporting in form, refined in craftsmanship — I prefer naturally aged Barenia. It develops a patina that tells the story of time, consistent with the spirit of someone who wears a Patek Philippe every day rather than keeping it in a safe. As an alternative, hand-finished Mississippi Alligator handles daily wear well and brings a more assertive character.
How long does a well-made strap last?
A strap built with quality leather and hand-stitched will comfortably last five, seven, even ten years with proper care. Keep it away from prolonged water exposure and condition it occasionally with a neutral cream. Over the years it does not deteriorate: it transforms, taking on the shape of the wrist, becoming more personal. That is one of the things I prefer about leather over steel.
Is the Aquanaut genuinely suited to daily wear, or is it an occasional watch?
The Aquanaut was conceived in 1997 precisely to be worn, not admired from a distance. The steel case, the sporting lines, the water resistance: these are design decisions, not decorative ones. I have seen clients wear it every single day for years without it losing anything. The steel reference, in particular, is the one that best withstands continuous use, without the anxiety about scratches that accompanies other materials.
