The Panerai Submersible PAM00692 has a lug width (spring bar lug) of 26mm. This is the internal distance between the two pins that hold the watch strap lugs. This measurement is specific to this model and many other medium to large-sized Submersible watches.

To change the strap, remove the spring bars using a spring bar tool—insert the tip into the small notch on the pin and gently lever it outward. Once one of the two elastic lugs is released, the strap detaches from the case. Position the lugs of the new strap into the slots, insert the spring bars, and press the pins until you hear a distinct click indicating they are secure.
