Position the watch face-down, insert the spring bar tool's tip into the small lateral opening at the base of one lug, and press gently downward to compress the internal spring and release the pin. Remove the old strap and insert the new one, aligning its hole with the pin. Repeat on the other side. It is advisable to perform the operation on a microfibre cloth and, if uncertain, consult a certified workshop.

A 17mm strap is physically compatible with any watch featuring 17mm lugs, regardless of brand. However, aesthetic compatibility is subjective: case diameter, thickness, material and dial colour influence visual harmony.
