To verify, use a digital calliper and measure from inside to inside of the lug passage: it must be exactly 21 mm. This ensures that any aftermarket strap is compatible without mechanical stress.

The process is straightforward: place the watch on a soft cloth with the case facing upwards. Locate the spring bars connecting the strap to the lugs. Using a dedicated tool (spring bar tool) or a small flat screwdriver, gently press inward to release the spring: the pin will disengage and you can extract the strap. Insert the new strap, aligning the holes with the lugs, then reinsert the bars by pressing until they click into place. Ensure the strap is straight and symmetrical before wearing the watch.

Any strap with a 21 mm lug width is mechanically compatible.
