The lug width is 24mm. This measurement falls outside the standard commercial range (typically 20mm or 22mm) but is proportioned to the 44mm case diameter and accommodates robust straps with medium-to-generous thickness. To verify compatibility, measure the distance between the inner edges of the upper lug attachment without including case protrusions.

Selection depends on intended use. For actual diving, a NATO strap in heavyweight canvas or vulcanised rubber ensures uncompromised functionality and instantaneous saltwater drainage. For everyday-formal contexts, an alligator strap with vegetable tanning in black or dark brown creates aesthetic balance with the titanium case. Shell cordovan is not recommended as its refined character conflicts with the instrument's technical vocation.

The strap is changed using a dedicated tool (spring bar tool) to compress the elastic terminals (spring bars) that secure the strap to the lugs. Position the tool in the small notch of the terminal, compress gently to release the strap, then extract the old strap and insert the new one identically. We recommend performing this operation on a soft surface to avoid accidental scratching of the titanium case.

Any strap with a 24mm lug width is compatible with this model. Lifespan depends on frequency of use and leather quality. A superior-quality alligator or calf leather strap with vegetable tanning lasts 3–5 years with moderate daily use. Prolonged exposure to humidity and UV rays accelerates ageing. A leather strap is unsuitable for regular diving: in such cases, always prefer NATO or rubber. The natural patina that develops over time is intrinsic to leather's beauty, not a defect.
