Position the tool in the lateral slot of the pin, apply gentle pressure to compress the internal spring, and release the pin from the case. Reverse the process to install the new strap. Avoid abrupt movements to prevent scratching the case.

Any strap with a 21mm lug width is compatible. Select based on your desired material: vegetable-tanned calf, alligator, NATO cordura, or rubber. Always verify that the strap has 21mm lugs rather than universal options, ensuring perfect fit without lateral play.

A quality vegetable-tanned calf strap offers durability of 3–5 years with regular maintenance (annual cleaning and conditioning). Natural patina develops over time, enriching the aesthetics.
