To maintain the aesthetic and constructive integrity of this timepiece, we recommend alligator leather with vegetable tanning (bourbon or black), or calf leather with satin finish and thickness between 1.4–1.6mm. For informal settings, a NATO strap in grey anthracite ballistic nylon offers practicality without visual conflict.

Use a springbar tool to gently remove the pin from one of the lugs. Extract the old strap, then insert the new one by securing the springbar into the opposite lug. Ensure the springbar is symmetrical relative to the lug and that the strap sits flush against the case.

Any strap manufactured to the specific 21mm lug width is compatible: leather (alligator, calf, shell cordovan if available), NATO fabric, or FKM rubber. Ensure the specification clearly states 21mm, not 20mm or 22mm.

A high-quality leather strap (alligator or vegetable-tanned calf), when used regularly on a single timepiece, typically lasts 2–3 years. With rotation across multiple watches and appropriate care (avoiding direct moisture exposure and treating with neutral balm if necessary), it can extend to 4–5 years.
