For the Tetra 408, we recommend straps in deep brown shell cordovan or vegetable-tanned calf leather, as both exhibit natural aging that complements the watch's minimalist Bauhaus aesthetic perfectly. To change the strap, you must remove the spring bars that connect the current strap to the case lugs. Using a dedicated spring bar removal tool, gently compress the bar to free one end of the old strap. Once removed, insert the new strap end, again using the removal tool, and ensure the spring bar is fully seated within both lugs. This is a straightforward procedure, but caution is necessary to avoid case scratching.
