This narrow width is a deliberate design choice, not a compromise: it emphasises the aesthetic balance of the cushion case and ensures comfortable, proportionate wear. To measure accurately, calculate the distance between the inner edges of the lugs at the attachment point to the strap.

For the F77 68000A77-BC we recommend leather straps in calf leather with natural grain and vegetable tanning, which develop patina over time and reflect the vintage soul of the watch. Natural alligator imparts sophisticated elegance, whilst a NATO in canvas in military green or sand authentically recreates the sporting chronograph atmosphere of the 1970s. To change the strap on the Nivada Grenchen F77, use a spring bar tool or dedicated Y-shaped tool. Position the watch on a stable surface, locate the small hole or recess in the upper part of the lug, carefully insert the tool to compress the internal spring and, with gentle movements, release the strap. Repeat on the other side. Insert the new strap by guiding the spring into its seat and press until you hear a final click. With 16mm lugs, ensure that the strap enters at a natural angle without forcing.
